Altice lost 37,000 pay TV subscribers last quarter, according to the company's latest earnings report. 12,000 of the departed customers were in the company's acquired Cablevision markets, and 25,000 were in the company's Suddenlink footprint. The second quarter is expected to be the worst quarter in history in terms of cord cutting, thanks to a growing number of over the top streaming video competitors. That said, the company's broadband subscriber totals weren't much to write home about either, with Altice adding just 18,000 broadband customers during the second quarter.
